舌如蓮花

一說話

就令人歡喜

就令人安心

祈願所有使用語言作橋樑的人

訴說之前懂得傾聽

訴說之時記得祝福

訴說之後常結善緣

如此，語言會是一株蓮

【祝福】

語言，真是一把雙面刃。用得善巧，它是好幫手、巧妙的工具；用得拙劣，它就是個大麻煩，一不留神就傷人自傷。

話說得好，是「舌燦蓮花」，彷彿嘴裡開出一朵蓮花，吐出的盡是清淨和芬芳；話說得不好，語言就變成口裡吐出的毒蛇，辭不達意還算小事，引起別人的貪嗔癡，誘發心裡的黑暗面，那罪過可大了。所以佛家稱語言造成的問題為「口業」。當語言引來了傷害及痛苦，不要急著說，不要搶著說，而是要想一下再說。

寶印手是種祝福，祈願我們都能柔軟善巧，善用語言功德，廣結善緣。寶印手也是種提醒，語言出口的時候，都要讓它清淨美麗如蓮，別讓毒蛇從嘴裡爬出來！

 

Language is really a double-edged sword. Used skillfully, it is a good helper and ingenious tool; used poorly, it can be a big trouble, causing harm to others and yourself if not careful.

If you speak well, your tongue will be like a lotus flower. It is like a lotus blooming in your mouth, and what you spit out is pure and fragrant. If you speak poorly, your words will become poisonous snakes spitting out of your mouth. Failure to convey what you mean is a trivial matter. To arouse greed, anger and ignorance in others and induce the dark side of the heart is a serious sin. Therefore, Buddhists call the problems caused by language "verbal karma." When words cause hurt and pain, don't rush to speak, don't speak brashly, but think about it before speaking.

The precious seal hand is a kind of blessing. I pray that we can all be flexible and skillful, make good use of language merits, and form many good relationships. The treasure seal hand is also a reminder. When you speak out your words, you must make them as pure and beautiful as a lotus, and don't let poisonous snakes crawl out of your mouth!
