第三九手相云：「若為十方諸佛速來摩頂授記者，當於頂上化佛手。」

佛，不在遙遠的寺廟，

厚重的大部頭經典裡，

當我們一念慈悲、一念覺醒

佛，遠在天邊近在眼前

就在我們心裡

掃清心頭塵埃就是佛，

發現自性光明就是佛，

自度度人就是佛。

為什麼必能成佛？

因為我們本來就是佛！

我們的生命中，不乏各式各樣的預言，但有人預言你會成佛嗎？

佛經中記載，善男子善女人若經諸佛摩頂授記，將來必然證悟成佛。摩頂授記，用白話說，就是諸佛摸頭加持祝福，預言此人將來一定會成佛。由於是佛在作這個預言，真是無上的榮耀和祝福。

學佛的修行人，無不嚮往這樣的授記。頂上化佛手，就是藉由千手千眼觀世音菩薩的願力和加持，祈願因為我們的精進和善行，終能創造這樣的殊勝因緣，得到十方諸佛的摩頂授記。

但頂上化佛手也是種提醒，諸佛豈會隨便授記？除非我們已經俱足成佛的條件，除非我們能在修行基本功上打穩根基，老實修行，敬畏因果，諸惡莫作，眾善奉行，勤修六度萬行，觀照當下每個念頭，否則，談授記，還早呢！

 

There are many kinds of prophecies in our lives, but has anyone predicted that you will become a Buddha?

It is recorded in the Buddhist scriptures that if good men and women receive prophecies from Buddhas on their heads, they will surely achieve enlightenment and become Buddhas in the future. Moding prophecy, in vernacular, means that the Buddhas touch their heads and bless them, predicting that this person will definitely become a Buddha in the future. Since it is the Buddha who is making this prophecy, it is truly a supreme honor and blessing.

Buddhist practitioners all yearn for such prophecies. The Buddha's hand on the top of the head is through the vow and blessing of the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. We pray that because of our diligence and good deeds, we can eventually create such a special cause and condition and receive blessings from all the Buddhas in the ten directions.

But the Buddha's hand on the top is also a reminder. How can the Buddhas give prophecies casually? Unless we have met the conditions for becoming a Buddha, unless we can lay a solid foundation in the basic skills of practice, practice honestly, respect cause and effect, refrain from doing evil, practice all good deeds, diligently practice the Six Perfections, and observe every thought in the moment, otherwise , it’s still early to talk about prophecies!
